    High-end pellet grill rec?

Yes, she was! She's a keeper!!! When I told this same woman that they were stopping production of my favorite whisky, she went down to BevMo and bought everything they had - I came home to 14 bottles of serious single malt that night! :-D

    High-end pellet grill rec?

I pulled the trigger! Pitts and Spitts Maverick 2000 Stainless with WIFI, wheel upgrade, trapdoor (trapdoor comes standard and is for direct cooking, but I don't expect I'll be doing much of that on this thing), fire cage, modular grate upgrade for bottom and center racks. Bottom and center...

    High-end pellet grill rec?

Yep, I am aware of the flavor difference - I've been working with a small Traeger for about a year now. Since I had the Traeger, I fired up the offset only one time - to make a birthday gift of some bad-ass bacon for a friend. Having tended fire for 4 hours to do it, it sure felt like a labor...

New member. The smoker I bought is out of my league.

I cleaned out my offset with hot fire once and I ended up burning a lot of the paint off. If that happens, it would be worth cleaning off any rust and re-painting, or you could end up with more rust than you want to deal with down the line.

So when you need a smoke boost, you can do it with real wood smoke. Saw a you-tube demo where a guy did a brisket this way and got a...

    High-end pellet grill rec?

Hi folks Noob from NorCal here - my first post. I've been running a Klose offset 20x36" since 2002, but recently a friend gave me his old entry-level Traeger when he upgraded. Now the flavor from the Traeger is not as good as from on the Klose for sure - I'd say it is only 70-80% there. But...

    Hello from NorCal

Hi everyone I'm a Brit, been living in the US since 1998, got introduced to meat smoking by another Brit when I lived in Seattle. Currently living in Woodland, CA. My first smoker was (and still is) a Klose 20x36 offset pipe smoker which I got way back in 2002. Now also running an Engelbrecht...
