This acts like a baffle. It brings the heat along the grill part. I also line the bbq with foil to increase the heat. be sure that the ash tray is tightly pressed against the wall where the SFB is.
I smoked 2 chickens yesterday and it took more than 2 hours. My temp in the bbq was 220. any segestions please on how to increase the amout of heat. I turned over my ash pan as a baffle. If I use tin foil to cover the bbq will that help? Thanks for all the input.
