    So what do you plan on smoking for the Super Bowl ?

    no smoking. weather looks terrible for Sunday. we're doing a appitizer plate thing. everyone brings their favorite snack. done this before and really get a snack food education.

    Wife not pleased with my tongue

    we dip the tongue in boiling water then peel and cook it. smoked tongue makes a great fajita taco.

    no pic cause i left it at the camp, but my neighbor made me an apron out of an old pair of carhart overalls. i really like it and doesn't look like it's too hard to do. she split the legs and sewed the inside seam together, then cut the back section off and hemmed it.

    Wife doesn't like smoked food

    my oldest daughter is the same way, has been all her life(she's 44 now). we never let it bother us too much, just let her get a pizza or something, we just kept on cookin! It's a shame, i built her husband a really nice smoker/pit and it hardly gets used, might have repo the thing!

    anyone have any experience with the vertical band saw/meat grinder apparatus ,the price is seductive. would really like to cut some steaks and chops. already have a good grinder, but who can't use a 2nd!

    Anyone else have a "shop dog" or four legged best friend?

    i had to put my old lab down a couple years ago. since then my wife's Yorkie has become my shadow. not a real manly animal, but she's right there when i turn around.
