    Winds can play a factor where I live while it is pretty stable I have dealt with swings up and down with mine over last season. I mean it is a fantastic machine and I love it was just more curious for those who do use them how they've worked out was it worth the extra money as most systems arent...

    wood chips or wood blocks ? which do you preferre and why ?

    I get my woods from a local apple / cherry / peach orchard they come in about one foot to one and half foots length pieces some split already smaller stuff still full round. I bring them home then set up my chop saw with a rip blade I use just for them. I very carefully cut them down to 4-6"...

    I cook with Cherry / Apple on my baby backs and my cast iron smoked beans. I use cherry on allot of what I smoke as well as apple.  Burns / Smokes great!

    wind-- is it a problem??

    Wind can be tough even here in south jersey but it's a simple fix of throwing together a quick wind block. Can be as simple as couple pieces of foam board or plywood or even a 6' folding table turned on its side. I've put two together like an arrow before to block wind. Hope this helps I will...
