Got some meaty loin ribs from BJ's and did them last week and then found an excuse to make them again because they are delicious. Used Jeff's rub with my own sauce. I smoked them in my Traeger for 5 hours at 225. Here's some pics:
There was a very small amount of mesquite left in the auger chamber but I filled the hopper with apple for this smoke. They came out fantastic, this was my first time using Jeff's rub and I cut back some of the spice for the wife and kids.
My my my, those butts look great! I need to learn more about injecting meat but I'm sure there's plenty of info about it on here. Congrats on the new baby on the way!

I like it a lot. It is easy to use, held temp pretty well and using the pellets makes for almost no clean up at all. I'm happy with the purchase so far, I will see how it does on a Boston Butt next weekend, ribs were the first test run. Thanks for looking.
