Opinions wanted on new smoker
I have a Traeger now, but am waiting on a delivery on a RecTeq RT-700. I know some complain about the app, but that isn't a deal breaker for me. Not sure about the gas grills or their pellet grills, but the kettles are covered with a porcelain enamel. -

I looked at Rec Tec, Pit Boss, Traeger, etc. Ultimately settled on the Traeger Pro 22 simply because I got a military discount and had a bunch of Cabelas points to use. I've done a few cooks (ok, almost daily since getting it) and I'm happy with it - esp for cooking chicken. I wanted...- Scythe
