    Haven't built one yet, but I think the lack of an exhaust vent on your lid is causing your problems.

    Haven't posted in awhile. Just wanted to share my best Boston Butts to date. Took about 12 hours, but came out the best. Didn't use any foil for the stall. Also, first time smoking with pecan chunks. This is the Memphis style This is the N.C. Chopped. Eastern Carolina style vinegar sauce.
