Bradley Smoker -- PID controller and convection modifications.

I finally completed all the modifications to my Bradley Smoker. I added a PID controller, 1200W heating element (w/SSR) and a convection fan. Overall I am very pleased with smoker.....the mods fix many of the short comings of a stock unit. The PID controller is a JLD612 which drives a 25A...

Make your own Bisquettes (or pucks) for the Bradley Smoker

The pucks burn real nice, just a little faster then an original. The DIY pucks burn more completely, where the oem pucks tend to have a lot of waste. Bradley claims the partial burn and dunking them in water prevents acrid smoke....I'm not sure what to think about that.

Make your own Bisquettes (or pucks) for the Bradley Smoker

I recently purchased a used Bradley Smoker and quickly decided I wanted to make my own Bisquettes. I did this for couple of reasons; cost, alternate wood types and it's a lot of fun to make them. Searching the internet, I found a variety of different recipes to make and form pucks for the...

I hear you....off grid can be fun.   We do a lot of trips with our XP900 SXS, you gotta haul it......so it's toy haulers, generators and all the other stuff that goes with it. BTW, you can't even hear a Honda 2000 if it's ~15ft away

I used 5052 because it bends easy and I had some on-hand....I also have some 6061 but it is tough to bend without cracking.  I would have liked to use SS but it meant a trip the the steel yard. I am not too worried about corrosion....I can always replace the shelf supports if necessary. Thanks...
