Unread alerts/conversations will now display a little different. Light mode will have a subtle color shift, dark mode adjusted a little bit. Both like/dark will show a small left border as well to easily indicate there is an unread alert/convo.

As far as I know, ads did not change. The new style inherited all the old ad locations so it should be the same. Ended up not being able to work on it last week, sorry about that! Fixing soon. I'll need to explore it a bit, I'm not certain having that sort of info on small screens is really...

Can you clarify this a little? Right now the sub-navigation will show on each selected forum tab. So while browsing the forum area, you'll see all the links just below (Mark forums read is at the end). If you're browsing Articles/Media, you'll see the dropdown for Forums.

I've made a little adjustment here. Light mode was definitely easier to spot read/unread. Both dark and light use bolded titles for unread, but dark will use a slightly brighter color now for unread threads/forums. Should help.

By default, they would dim without active notifications. It's pretty clear when you have alerts so I've removed that dim. I also agree, having them a little larger is nicer. Working on that now as well.

The old bright old orange style was no longer supported and wasn't updated with the refresh. While viewing a forum, you can use these two features. A global create button should be coming a home back soon

I added user details back. They do not show on mobile. Can't recall if they did on the previous setup either but they're not really meant to show on mobile as it's a lot of info for a small screen. You can clock their name and view it on the member tooltip though.

Interesting... might be a caching issue. If you set your style variation to "Dark" here: https://www.smokingmeatforums.com/account/preferences does it in end in the same result?

Are you using the light or dark mode? You have the ability to toggle it easily in the navigation: System will automatically detect your preferred light/dark mode on your device (some phones as an example turn on dark mode at certain times). Or you can just force light/dark. You can also do it...
