I have started making sausage and I did it all with my KitchenAid and yeah that was painful. Looking now for a new stuffer.
Congrats on the gifts. So which are you getting?
That looks tasty but do you actually have a beer can in there? I find I tend not to like the chicken as much because it takes longer to cook if I do the beer can. Though some of that depends on the temp you are cooking the chicken at.
Now to disclose I don't have a reverse flow though I have researched it and maybe I slept at a holiday inn express last night. One of the main things I understand about reverse flow is the advantage that it forces all of the smoke to circulate through more evenly. As for heat retention I am...
Welcome to the forums, or from lurking I guess. Definitely a keeper there with that girlfriend of yours. I need to get myself a Weber Kettle as I love being able to grill like that. I think my wife might shake her head at me though.
What mods did you do to your Smoke Hollow?

Mmm that sounds awesome! But yeah you are going to get some hate if you don't post some pictures of the awesomeness! LOL
As for not measuring anything I call it my way of protecting my secret recipes. I have made my mixes in front of people and they always complain that when they try and...
Awesome father's day present. I got a new knife set. But now that I know you are on the panhandle where would that be? I might need to come use your log splitter!
I love red oak and I normally mix it with hickory. Other times I get pecan wood and that also has great flavor. I get all the different varieties from a local wood yard in Pace.
Before I really got into smoking I used to like the McRib, not release party like, but I would pick them up. Now my interest is only because I have been planning on doing a vegetarian ribs and I want to know how then make them look like ribs. I need a form or press I have been thinking.

I might be showing up... I might have another BBQ Comp that weekend I will have to check. Otherwise I might just hop on the harley and cruise on down there for the weekend.
