    Successful so far, ended up using foil balls to raise the AMNPS up for lack of finding anything better laying around the house. Since we are having thunderstorms and 90% humidity here I just took the chip loader and tray out to make sure AMNPS had enough oxygen to stay lit through the night...

    Nice looking MES by the way, @mummel  , I've used mine 3 times and it looks like a gremlin in a microwave in there, I clean the grates and pans and glass but how do you get the sides and back so clean? and the metal part of the door?

    All good stuff, thanks guys, I just need to find the best thing (hopefully laying around here, I had an old smoker box somewhere...) to get the smoker off the foil. It will be done. Looking forward to the weekend, all your input is much appreciated.

    Hi All, I'm new here and just got a MES 40 Bluetooth, and am awaiting my pellet smoker. I have a large order (4pork shoulders) to cook this weekend (and won't be able to tend the chip loader, hence the AMNPS). A lot of the set ups above seem logical, but I'm wondering what you do about drippings...

    Hi all, my name's Nick, I'm a musician and DJ living in San Diego. I was recently gifted a Masterbuilt 40, and have put it to good use already, cooking some massive quantities of meats for my giant extended family. I have found this site quite helpful, will be posting a question soon.
