MES40 not making smoke
I just got the MES40 out to smoke some PP for the 4th and when I added the apple chips to the drawer they would not burn. I microwaved them for 3 minutes on high to no avail. The smoker temp went to 225 OK but the wood "cooker" part of the unit doesn't seem to be working. Last year all was OAK...- mtdon

MES+AMNPS vs Bradley
I am researching to buy a electric smoker and only want to do this once. Seems like folks are adding the AMNPS to their MES 30 or 40 to get enough smoke. So why not get the Bradley that produces tons of smoke. Also, it sounds like the MES has element issues and that they are difficult to obtain...- mtdon
