Traeger Pellet Unit
To Nepas.... and others.... I finally took my Treager apart 2 days ago, and, together with a newly downloaded manual with wiring diagram.... I found the problem. There are 2 SETS OF BLACK WIRES in the unit... one to a set of Red & White and the other to a set of Orange & White..... as I got to...- mercy

Ha Ha.... Great post! I've been through all of your experiences..... funny thing is..... I still am nervous, and sit and watch my smoker.... Wife says I'm crazy.... perhaps she is right.... but... I still want my stuff to turn out good..... something wrong with that desire???? I haven't done... -

I was really impressed with the photos of your eggs, and I loved the color..... I did a batch, let them set for 17 days, tried one.... it didn't have any color at all..... simply white, and of course, yellow in the inside. I wonder what I did wrong???? Got any suggestions as to why mine did...- mercy

Traeger Pellet Unit
I have a Traeger Pellet unit that originally used a standard "high,medium,smoke" thermostat.... not digital. I purchased the newer digital thermostat from Traeger, installed it per directions.... now it won't cook at less than 350F.... way too hot for slow cooking and/or smoking..... Any...- mercy

New to Smoking Meat Forums....
Hello fellow meat smokers.... I am not a new meat smoker, nor am I an experienced one.... my wife does NOT like smoked meat, so my experience has been somewhat limited.... while I love it, I must also appease her wishes.... I own and use, a Bradley smoker, but not the newer 'digital' model...
