Got some more progress done today.
Fire Box extended 5", door latches welded on, and some cheap little dial thermometers (I cook digital, but it's a nice back up) and some more fire vents

So I started my outdoor smoking adventures on a combo side by side gas and offset rig. Well, I quickly outgrew that in its stock form and modified the bee-Jesus out of it... and you guessed it... outgrew that..

I'm about 90% finished with my first build. Gonna rework the firebox height, test burn again, then put a channel in the plate and start cooking.
