Chasing the perfect Mac and Cheese

I'm chasing the perfect smoked mac and cheese recipe and don't know where to start. For comparison sake, Heim bbq in Ft Worth has a green chilli mac and cheese that's fantastic. Texture and flavor are off the chart and what I'm looking for. I could modify without the green chilli's and be...

    Lane's rubs

I like Lane's rubs. Dizzy pigs are good too but I think some of the flavors from Lane's are really hard to beat. Meat church voo doo and honey hog are good too.

    Turkey Breast Without Solution?

I love smoked turkey breast but all I can find at local grocery stores are full of nasty solution. Any ideas on where to get breasts that aren't full of that solution junk? I'm in South Carolina.

    Mummy shrimp ?

We cook bacon wrapped duck bites frequently this time of year. I precook the bacon in the microwave for 2 minutes and then wrap them so the duck doesn't overcook while we wait on the bacon to get crispy. Could be an option for shrimp.

Smoked Prime Rib for Christmas Dinner

I just dropped an 11 pounder in an umai dry aging bag two days ago. We'll pull it from my twin boys 18th birthday at the end of January. Family tradition. We normally age for 35-45 days. Haven't done one this big yet though. Usually 6-8 pounds.

    What Cookbook Software to use?

Paprika is one of only two apps I have ever paid for. Definitely worth it. We set it up on family sharing so my wife and I both have access. I love the download option and how it strips out all the blog junk.

Paprika Recipe Manager 3 on Sale

I NEVER pay for apps and I paid for this one. Best app ever. I love the download feature that strips out all the nonsense about mothers grandmas brothers uncle that first made this recipe 1000 years go. Nobody cares about your recipes history. Just show me the recipe. Great app though.

    BJ's question

We frequent Costco and also have a Sam's membership that we use occasionally. We're getting a BJ's soon. Anybody have feedback on BJ's and how it compares to Sam's or Costco?

Spent a few days at Myrtle Beach...

I love that place. We rarely eat out but that’s a must stop when my old college roommates are down to play golf in Myrtle beach.

    Need new steak knife recommendations

We have a cheap set of steak knives that are on their last leg. Any Black Friday deals out there? Looking for a decent set of knifes that won’t break the bank. Preferably not serrated so I can sharpen them easier. Any suggestions?
