In the UK, barbecue does not have the same connotations as in America. In America, it’s a legitimate cuisine; in the UK it tends to be about throwing some supermarket brand sausages over some charcoal until their burned through.

I’ve been getting steadily more interested in PROPER barbecue since I started watching BBQ Pitmasters and want to learn more and more about how to make meat that amazing!
