Also it might add flavor to the smoke off of the charcoal. HM... you might be onto something here. I doubt it would make it match light because the alcohol content of most whiskey isnt quite high enough to be lightable but it could end up adding flavor.
I really dont know how it would work out. I def wouldnt recomend trying to smoke it after its pulled. I would imagine thats almost garunteed to dry it out a lot.

After alot of looking on here and everyone else I think I have descided on a char-broil silver smoker. they are available on post for $160 and no tax since I am purchasing on post and from what ive read with a few simple mods they seem to put out a good product.
Im looking to try to find a good buffalo rub as well. My idea is to also add some powdered ranch to it as well to come up with a buffalo ranch rub for chicken. Ill probably be experimenting later this week and let you know if I have any luck.
