I am a disabled Air Force Vet both pre and post 9-11. I love cooking when I can and when my back pain allows me to. I have been grilling for years but just got my first pellet grill & smoker. Love Alton Brown and his approach to food and the science behind it. He is probably the only one on Food Network and the Cooking Channel that still teaches you how to make food.
I used to hunt as a kid but haven't been hunting in years! I am an avid proponent of our 2nd amendment. When I can I like to get out on the lake whether it is fishing off the boat or spending time with my wife and kids out on the water relaxing.
I have been playing Bass Guitar (using the term playing loosely) since I was in my late teens and just recently picked up guitar.
I look forward to expanding my knowledge about all things Smoking and grilling on here and have already seen some awesome recipes that I will have to try out on my new smoker.
