    BGE vs. Kamado Joe

The Joe comes with most of the accessories you would add to the BGE from what I understand. Costco is currently having Kamado Joe road shows with some deep discounts. Kamado grills are definitely a great thing to cook on. I have a Vision M currently. I'm looking at something larger and am...

    Propane Smoker Mobility Questions

Depends on the smoker. My propane smoker got a frame with casters that I saw some other folks around here make. Simple and inexpensive to do.

Looking for feedback on Vision Kamado M Series grill? (Sams Club only?)

I have not tried high heat / pizza cooking yet. All I've done is practiced maintaining 250 and 350. I'll see about trying to get high temps this weekend.

Looking for feedback on Vision Kamado M Series grill? (Sams Club only?)

I did a reverse sear on the stone and it was WONDERFUL! http://www.islandgrillstone.com/support/getting-started.php has instructions for seasoning a lava stone. Here's a couple videos

Looking for feedback on Vision Kamado M Series grill? (Sams Club only?)

There's 2 separate size stones. The smaller diameter one fits below the main grate for indirect cooking on the main grate (or indirect cooking on the accessory grate if you get one). The larger stone fits on the main grate with a little modification to the grate. It fits fine "as is" on the...

Looking for feedback on Vision Kamado M Series grill? (Sams Club only?)

I can tell you that when I had my Vision Classic B from Costco, I went through 2 of the thinner style pizza stones from WalMart trying to save a couple bux. They crack... The lava stones out of the accessory kit have been at 600+ with no problems whatsoever.

Looking for feedback on Vision Kamado M Series grill? (Sams Club only?)

I haven't had time quite yet but pics are done and I'll pretty much copy over what I posted on Kamado Guru,  but as far as a cooking stone goes, get to a Sam's Club and get their accessories pack for 99 bux. http://www.samsclub.com/sams/kamado-accessory-kit/prod14170028.ip?navAction= That will...

    Thermometers

Interesting. I bought one from them as well. I don't think it was used, but it did have a probe problem. Maverick is sending me 2 new probes. I wonder if this guy is selling returns as new? Mine seems brand new. Maverick didn't even ask me where it was purchased or for a receipt, but just...

Looking for feedback on Vision Kamado M Series grill? (Sams Club only?)

I bought one from Sam's as well. VERY impressed with it so far after 3 cooks. Temp gauge had a little problem but Vision sent a new one that seems fine. It's my second Vision. The first had 'issues" which seem to be all ironed out now. It's a little smaller than I'm used to but it will cook 7...
