I would try a new switch anyway because the ones they make today are junk compared to the old ones. Also if you have a remote sensor in the fan, that may or may not be the problem.

A legend, yes. Bear taught me practically everything I know about my smoker and how to cook and smoke some of the best stuff I ever ate. Not only a legend but a great mentor as well. Won't be the same here without him :-(

When I do my pork butts I follow Bears step by step procedures. I used hickory to smoke this time. Times and temperatures in Bears step by step also. As far as activities, did some yard work and seed prep for planting in my garden in a few weeks :-)
