Thanks for the advice! People wait in long lines to taste BurnCo Bbq ribs in Tulsa. I agree that it don't look very nice but these ribs taste INCREDIBLE!!! I took this picture from there FB page.
How do you produce a dark crust on the bbq ribs. My ribs usually come out with a dark carmel look with little crust. I inserted a picture as an example of what I want mine to look like. Thanks
!!
Thank you Jarjarchef! They came out better than I was expecting. There's some folks here in my home town of Tulss, OK that heard of how good they were and offered to pay me to make some for them. I think this might be a start of something cool....lol.
I made 2 racks in my chargriller smoker using Royal Oak Hardwood and they turned out sooooo good! My whole family was begging me to make more. I used the 3, 1.5, 1.5 method. This is the 3rd time I smoked ribs.
This is my first experience smoking any type of rib and I think that it was just ok. I used a 2, 1,1 method which I cooked a temperature of around 250/265 so I reduced the normal 3,2,1. I used apple and light amounts hickory wood.
