Do I still inject a frozen turkey that has "injected solution"?

Thanks everyone! Looks like I can't really go wrong with some flavor injector. And yes, this is the only bird being cooked this thanksgiving and it's my first. Risky but it's just the wife and kids this year so there's no extended company to disappoint if it goes sideways.

Do I still inject a frozen turkey that has "injected solution"?

The frozen turkey is already purchased, and it contains "9.5% injected solution of water, salt..." etc. This is my first year smoking one and everything I'm reading talks about brining or injecting to keep it from drying out, but it sounds like this was already done; if I inject more to add...

Thanks! I just found a local place with Lumber Jack and I'm going to give them a try. I also got some Bear Mountain this week, the Alder was very nice on a salmon but I haven't opened the Bold BBQ yet. Unfortunately I just refilled with a couple bags of pit boss so I'll need to work through...

Pit Boss pellets are readily available in the garden center of my local WalMart, but I'm wondering is there a seasonality to their availability? That is, will they have them year-round or should I stock up in August to have enough to get me...

    Pit boss pro series 820

I have the 820 Pro, just picked it up 2 weeks ago and it's my first smoker. I love it, super easy to use and everything tastes wonderful. At $499 pre-built and delivered from Lowe's it was a great deal. My only issue was that after the first 2 cooks I had an oval of peeling paint from the...

    New Pellet Smoker from CT

Hi, Gregg here from CT. After my old reliable Weber gas grill finally quit on me I took the plunge about 2 weeks ago with a Pit Boss 820 Pro pellet grill. I had never smoked anything before. In the last 2 weeks I've done burgers (fresh and straight from the freezer), chicken legs, pizza, cast...
