    well 11hrs about 1.5hrs of sleep since yesterday 7/3/12 at like 8am and final product is great, everyone loved it outta of a 7# hog only about or less then 1/2lbs left 1 guy definatly said it was the best he had

    thanks for the replies i was just getting paranoid 6hrs in and it is at 160* internal and been guessing at the temp since i forgot to get a thermo for inside the grill and i am using a chargriller deluxe with no SFB factory thermo says about 230-240* first pic

    ok first pulled pork smoked in now i thinking i messing up somehow it is at like 120* after only about 2hrs.......anyone have suggestions on how to save this? i figured 10.5-11hrs for a 7# butt,  but idk only my 2nd time smoking first time was chicken breast turned out good...... hope someone...

    thanks guys, also will smoking the hog work the same with my smoker? have an indirect smoker meat on left on rack, then water pan below meat and coals on right side under the grate like do i need to cook at a lower temp?

    also has anyone had a hog butt from sam's club? dont think there are many down home butchers around here nowadays...aso the hog at sam's club is like $1.58/per anyone know if that is good price or aveerage
