You’re the man! I hate electrical stuff, but I almost feel like I have the answer but the last thing I wanna do is hook it up and fail…. I’m pretty sure I’m going to just split it to a 4 prong splitter instead of the 3 prong I have now….. I’d want to hook it up NC
Here is the actual button if...
This is my NC NO 110v switch but I was a little confused how to hook it up…. I thought maybe I would be the male positive and negative but then realized just the switch would be hooked up…. Now I’m wondering if I need to get a 4 prong switch thing instead of the 3 prong…. Positive prong one to...
Yeah I don’t think I’m going to get one that large….. yet lol so maybe this 32” will work out well for me… I do plan on making one thing at a time so I’ll go back to planning on picking that guy up Sunday still.., thanks for the help brother
So my concern with it is not having a big enough offset that I can’t have a log fire and not having to burn small sticks I had to load up every 20 minutes…. Is 36” that minimum for that
So I’m in the process of buying a used smoker, used because new is so expensive and used is nice because most these people just trying to find someone to remove it for them, so tons of savings….

Ah come on you don’t got no faith In me to give it the one and done lol….. I’m just joking, I do plan on running a few test fires and doing some chicken thighs just to start playing around with those values… if I’m not done with the first fire I planned on just running it dry until I’m...

Scratch that question, I figured it out, i did it with the 3 prong jumpers just make it so the hot went to 3 prongs 1st from male 2nd from SSR 3rd from PID…. I did the same with the nuteral and presto…. Now time to watch some videos and ho to get into the PID settings and play around with those...
Tons of good info here, I’m actually going to go the male extension cord route female route…. The thing that has me scratching my head is that the male hot is going to both to the SSR and the PID, which is confusing me how that works…. The only thing I can figure is that I’ll get a wire nut...
That was actually a ton of help! You have some great suggestions here and will be doing them all… you know I kept seeing people writing P=1 I=XX D=XX but I had no idea what it was talking about…. Now that u mention values it leads me to believe there is some sort of input you need to put in the...
This weekend I will was watching some BBQ competition show and noticed one of them had temperature controller on smokers, I elated! The set it and forget it aspect of a pellet grill was the only reason I never got an offset smoker but now I finally had the best of both worlds. It was just funny...
