Thanks Jason! I'll be honest - I tried this last night and was not a fan, but I think it may have to do with the type of coffee we used. I was at my parent's house and had to raid their pantry and they don't keep as good of coffee as I do.
Ground beef and breakfast sausages both can absorb smoke quickly. I'll usually put both on at 275 and you can definitely taste the smoke when they're done
Personally, I'm not a fan of rub on steaks. I prefer just salt on there. I take them out the night before and salt generously and leave in the fridge uncovered. Cook them the next day and they always taste awesome
Made my first fatty on Easter and it turned out really well! Only problem was the bacon didn't get as crispy as I was hoping. Had the Traeger set at 275 for a couple hours. The inside hit the right temp but the bacon weave wasn't crispy. Any suggestions?
I don't think it has to do with how many chips I'm using since it happens whether I fill the wood tray or just put in a couple pieces. I've reached out to Masterbuilt and am still waiting to hear back.
I've heard good things about the AMNPS but I think my wife is getting me the cold smoking...
Hey guys. I have a Masterbuilt Bluetooth Electric Smoker and the past several times I've used it, the wood chips burn and the smoke coming out the top smells like a campfire and not like the flavor of the wood. I've cleaned the entire unit (specially the wood tray) but it has still been...
