Well now, that's cool. I'm dealing with 1/4 steel though. I'm thinking if I drill a 1/4 hole and it has two wires running through it I'm not going to lose a significant amount of heat even ifI do not have some king of grommet or seal.- deaf smith

I recently got the Maverick 733 thermometer. I'm concerned about the clearance (or lack thereof) through the closed doors of my Lyfe Tyme trailer smoker.
