Has anyone ever smoked the football Roast? I'm thinking of trying it tomorrow. I searched on here and I must be doing something wrong because I know someone has done it before. Any tips for rub,seasoning or marinade would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance!
Its been awhile since I posted on here but had to post some food porn! Got 4 10lbers on the ole smoker for Labor Day. Started a little late but lets hope these cook they normally do on my smoker so we can eat in time!
LOL... Well I normally smoke meat quite often. I haven't fired up the ole smoker in about 2 months though.. Been really busy. I neglected it...lol I just wrapped a little while ago but will post more bbq pics when they are done.. Hopefully they are done by 1730.
From my experience is you want to keep the smoke coming out of your smoker almost non existent to a light blue color. If theres smoke barreling out of the smoker then your fire is smoldering and not burning. If yours was a light blue to non existent and it produced this much smokey flavor...
