    maintained 240 most of the way had a slight spike at the end but it made the skin on my chicken a little crispy ( not a bad thing) ribs are almost done photos to come soon.

    Well both stores by me didnt have it but the one 10 miles away did .  basket made first smoke should be tomorrow .Thanks for the help everyone.

    Im having a hard time finding the expanded metal to make the coal basket. Anyone have any alternative ways to make one . thanks in advance.

    Newbie from Jacksonville Florida

    Hi everyone!! I'm building a UDS to give this meat smoking thing a try. I hope to have it done in about a week. I'm learning alot from reading eveyones post and cant wait to learn ore once im done with my build.
