@tallbm, couple additional questions/info for you. 1. I have been careful with all 4 of the visible connections. Thank you guys. I appreciate your responses. I am attaching a couple pictures to this so I can understand what is what on the back of my smoker. Frankly, I'm surprised that the condition (in a good way) these areas are in. On the back of my unit, about 6-10 inches up on the right (off center)...- chaco81

Hey Guys, I have a similar issue, but am hoping you could also help to guide my smoker and I back to working condition. I have the 20077915, which I believe is the Gen2 from what I read in previous posts. I purchased 6 years ago I believe. I have only really smoked turkeys 1-2 times per year...- chaco81
