ADVICE ON A WARPED FIRE BOX DOOR NEEDED!!!!

Thanks for the input folks, we've got the door straightened out and did a second test run, not any where as hot, and things are looking good! It holds temperature amazingly we'll and is very easily adjusted thanks to all the ways we've built in to move air around!  Now to get the seals around...

Great idea, the welder working on this with me may have a big heavy secure table we can do this on, plus might be able to build a jig to flex it back a bit too!

Hello all! We were doing great on our build until the burn in. Most of it went well, the gadgets work great but the fire door warped, wondering if theres anyone on here that has experience with this and a plausible solution for fixing this door? Third starts a charm!

Seeing as this build has been on and off since the inception, no reason not to follow suit!! Heres some more of the build! Heres us weighing it with a borrowed crane scale on the end of an excavator, we all guessed at how much it weighed at this point, came out to and even 3600lbs (with Glen...

    Third starts a charm!

Its more like, I've never had a trailer mounted cooker before but wanted one so we could take to events and maybe compete one day. Then a friend came along and said, "I'm on board with that", so we started building a cooker. As for material, I had a chunk of 36" diameter pipe in my yard so we...

    Third starts a charm!

I'm extremely fortunate to have the play ground I do! Some of which exists from the sacrifice in time I had to make on the smoker (i.e: working all year on a huge project we landed and having no time to build the smoker or do anything else really) If there aren't to many more distractions Id...

    Third starts a charm!

Some background on how this build started: *imagine, two buddies drinking and wandering around an industrial/farm yard with lots of odds and ends in it when they see a big chunk of pipe, once used as a land roller to push rocks into the ground and smooth tilled ground, Buddy #1 "HEY!! You know...

    Third starts a charm!

After getting back to it to measure, the cook chamber is .375 wall. And no, Ive never calculated any weights as the design is in my head, on a couple napkins and one sheet of graph paper. (and I hate admitting it but on several other web sites as I need inspiration) Once we weigh it I may opt...
