The first mod you need to make if you but this is to get rid of the flame disk and replace it with a cast iron skillet, I am still very much a rookie but this made all the difference in the world for my results
Since hamburger is cheap I will try that. I was thinking about placing foil underneath the burgers so that it would have to go around the grates instead of through them.

So I have completed my first smoke and it went alright , just a lot of temps true drop when adding new batches of wood chips. I was wonder if anyone had any tips on using AMNPS for the smoke and the propane burner for the heat. I have scoured the other threads and maybe I am over looking...
