Update: Looking pretty good so far. Smoker is holding temps good right at 220 or so. I've been spraying butts with apple juice everyone 1/2 hour or so. The smaller butts on top have a temp inside of 165.
Good morning all. Here is a photo below. (Not great photo) of what is on my smoker right now. 8 pork butt ranging from 3-5 lbs. Started about 1/2 hour ago. I will keep everyone posted and more Q-View to come.

6 Pork Butts ranging from 3.5-5 lbs. Already rubbed and in frig. Pork will be PULLED!

Hello all,
So I am throwing a bday party for my 4 year old. I am planning to smoke some meats for eats.
Here is what I have in mind. Its an estimate 50-60 people or so,, including 20 kids or so.
6 - Slabs Spare Ribs
4 - Whole chickens smoked and pulled
5 - 3-4lb smoking butts for pulled...
Copy that.
I will add coleslaw, and baked beans.
I have never made ABTs or pork shots. I have saw many ways/recipes. Any suggestions?
Also anyone got a killer baked beans recipe?

I am having a BBQ in a month or so with a group of my friends here in Las Vegas.
I will be hosting the event and will be doing 90% of the cooking/smoking/grilling.

I have never made these but its seems you could put anything you like in them.

Well it has been a few weeks now and I have tried the cheese. Overall I'm not really impressed. The cheese has a good smokey smell but lacks in flavor.

Its kind of a real shame that you can share you methods of smoking/bbqing and show off the end product with photos but that it.
Only 1 third of the real story, missing the taste and smell factors.
Could be worse I guess, I just think it is a tease looking at some of these threads and...

I love the way the meat creeps up the bones exposing the end of the bones when done. Awesome! My only complaint is the famous daves sauce. Im not a fan of famous daves.
Please enlighten me on how you failed badly with spares....
