    Practice meats for learning smoking without breaking the bank

    Ground Meats (Beef Pork or Turkey) sometimes go on sale for cheap (can get a lot of meat 3-4lbs at time).  Try making some meatloafs tons of ingredients and flavors.  I suggest if your using Ground Turkey going with Alder wood.  Pork can't miss with hickory,apple etc..

    ? hickory syrup is that like liquid smoke (yuk)  I smoke the beans in the last two hours of a smoke I like to put them under my pork shoulders and let the drippings mix in with the sauce.

    horseradish Sause Recipe Needed

    I have only made my own fresh horseradish a few times but I use white vinegar and it seems to keep just fine.  I had some glass jars for it.  Hard to find decent horseradish roots to grind the store down here had one that actually turned to gel and they "produce" guy said no that was fine.

    Anyone tried burgers?

    I have done homemade turkey burgers on the kettle grill and tossed in some Alder wood chips in the fire gave them a nice flavor.
