Beef Jerky question
Have any of you ever dehydrated jerky and a powdery residue forms on the the meat. I dont know why it only forms in some of the pieces and it has a different undesirable texture and flavor. Any suggestions?- belgianboy

Powdery crust forms on jerry while dehydrating
When I am dehydrating beef jerky sometimes a powdery crust forms just on some pieces and it gives it a different taste does anyone know what this is- belgianboy
