A big THANK YOU to everyone who posted their recipes & help with smoking a turkey. My first time smoking a whole turkey for Thanksgiving was a huge success! Smoked a 12 lb bird with the slaughterhouse brine & baste recipe, soaked in the brine over night, used hickory.
The bird was unbelievably good! My wife says it was the best turkey she ever had and she's a darn good cook.
