Hey all, I just picked up my first stick smoker. It looks like I got a steal on a one year old Horizon 20 RD Marshall smoker for 6 bills, however I do have a maintenance question that I could not seem to find.
So there is a little bit of surface rust that I figure I can knock off with a wire wheel and some paint. The cook box rack is a bit rusty, again I figure some time with a wire wheel and re-season should be ok. The one thing that I am not sure on is some interior rust.
Now I live in Florida so we get our fair share of humidity and rain. It seems to be mostly surface rust just in this area of the cooker under the tuning plate when closed. I am wondering if it may not have been seasoned well??
