One of my Grandsons asked me a couple of weeks ago if I would cook him some ribs, pulled pork and beans. The weather has really been crappy, but yesterday decided to go for it today, Was supposed to be cold but that was it. So I had everything ready, got up at 5:00 to get started and it was cold with a heavy drizzle, fired up the smoker and got started
Pork Butts on sale $1.27 lb.
Rubbed down and waiting, That fillet knife is 38 years old
Sun coming up and drizzling
Starting to brown up some bacon for the beans
A little onion chopped
Onions and Jalapenos
Everything getting yummy
My BBQ sauce (last one) and seasoning

Ribs, I thought I got 2 and 2 but I got 3 St. Louis ans one Baby Back

Membrane pulled waiting on seasoning
Very light coat of Mustard and EVOO
Seasoned with my Rub
Everything on
Butts after 6 hours
Beans after 5 hours
Secret Rib Sauce
New toy
Ribs after 3 hours ready to be wrapped
Ribs after being unwrapped , Pork Butts still trudging along
First butt was ready after 11 hours, second butt took 12 hours
Ribs, 3 hours, 1.25 hours and about another hour a hair over 5 total
Sorry I didn't get more shots of all butts , in a hurry to get it all delivered. Going to # 2
son and grandson who asked for it, some going to my other grandson's best friends house
the rest staying home.
