Greetings all,
In what I’m sure is a regular post this week, I’m here with a prime rib. No smoker or grill today as my yard is one giant mud puddle so the oven did an admirable job.

I did a 2bone prime rib roast- seasoned with kosher salt and black pepper. Into the oven at 250 it went until exactly 118F. After a rest, it went back in at 450 for 5 minutes. Pulled, sliced, and served along side with mashed potatoes, and roasted veg. Verdict = fantastic. Leftovers for tomorrow and the week!

Thanks for looking and Merry Christmas and Happy Holdiays.

Good looking prime rib! Nothing wrong with using the oven. I'd be pleased to sit down to that plate.

Looks darn good! All you guys posting up prime ribs is great. My Daughter in law has requested one for her birthday in June. Gonna have a lot of reference material to fall back on.
