Hey y'all

New guy, Will, from Greenville, NC. Cooking whole-hog barbeque has been in the family for years, and I do enjoy meat off the grill.

Looking to learn new stuff all the time.

Thanks!

Yeah I'm looking forward to some whole hog myself. I was talking with my dad recently, he's from elm city and talked about cooking hogs over a hole in the ground. I think he was shorting me since all he ever cooked was chicken and burgers on the kettle.

Thanks gents

Done whole hog with my ol' man, just need some refreshing as he's retired from that. Well, refreshing and a cooker...

Never dug the pit, but his daddy taught him that originally. Maybe one day!

Got several irons in the fire, so it's all small stuff for now, but definitely moving to bigger and better projects in the future.

I've been killing the kettle Weber, but looking more smoker experience. Thinking of starting with the Dyna-Glo offset vertical and some nomex for my first one.

Thoughts?
