Hello all. My name is John from memphis. I'm an amateur smoker with about 4 years of bacyard experience. I would say my specialty is beer can chicken with alabama white sauce. I'm currently working on perfecting my rib and brisket recipes. May never get there, but I'm having a helluva good time trying. I'm currently smoking with a rusty chargriller barrell but am looking to invest in a newer better barrell soon. Thinking about the smokey hollow setup at sams. Ill probably throw some questions out about that on the appropriate page. I was just invited to join a team, we are called "the secondhand smokers". We will be competing at the esperanza in Marion ar. In May. I'm truly excited about finally competing and getting some good experience.
