Been looking around a little at some stores here in the area and found a couple that interest me just wanted others thoughts on the ones Im interested in. The ones pictured below are the only ones really available in my area and really interested in the PitBoss Brunswick and ones like that but the Austin looks good as well. Was wondering if they would be worth it or just order one because if they are good might grab it this week to cook on it this weekend.

I have had the Austin xl for almost 6 years with zero issues other than replacing the heat rod and internal thermostat at around 4 years. Been a nice smoker and great customer service. You won't go wrong with it but the Brunswick has PID and might perform a little better. If you do decide on the Austin they sell an upgrade PID controller for a good price and they are very easy to switch out

So how much space is in the Austin XL is the upper rack big enough to smoke some meat on because that's the biggest thing I'm looking for in a new smoker is an upper rack to smoke meat on to get it away from the heat. Also curious with the Brunswick and Pit Boss Pro how the pellets load in it and if that tray below the door is just to clean it out. If so might be leaning that way

OP, let me suggest a look at the Camp Chef line of pellet grills. They have some in your price range with nice features and more vertical space than most others. I have the SG24 version.
I also have the SG24wifi version and love it. Something to consider is that you can order CC grills from Lowes and have them shipped to the store. I ordered mine that way and had a year to pay it off with my Lowes card.

Just curious how is the space in it. Is there plenty of room in it especially cooking space on the upper rack to cook maybe a brisket or butt on top and some other stuff below it like ribs. I actually have one available at a store really close to me if the one pictured is what you are talking about either the small picture at the top of the bigger one on the bottom.

It's roomy enough to cook quite a bit.

Think I've narrowed it down to these four and probably going to go get one today or tomorrow. Any more thoughts on them. Really just need it to smoke haven't had the best luck with grilling on them always have a ton of flareups.

I just ordered the CC Woodwind Pro 36 today. Should be here by the weekend...hopefully. This was after many hours spent on YouTube checking out nearly every pellet grill to replace my Traeger Pro 22. The improved PID controller, smoke settings, and fire box sold me.

Gosh that is my dream smoker honestly just don't know if I ever will have the money to spend on it. Curious how it works if it really does give it an extra layer of smoke flavor

My buddy has the 36 Pro, nice grill. Biggest issue with the chunk box is it gets hot! He burned himself twice already, lacks insulation. He also already had to replace his ignitor? What I didn't understand about it for all that money ($1500+), why 2" phenolic casters?

My brother in law has a Pitt Boss and he and my sister love it. Not sure what model he has, but it is larger than the space you are working with. I don't have personal experience cooking on it, but I've had several meals that were cooked on it and it was always delicious.
