South Louisiana-Yes, it is HOT
I have posted before that I use liner gloves under my latex gloves for when mixing sausage by hand. This keeps your hands warm, and keeps the sausage cold. I have been asked for links in the past... well, here is a good deal. 36 gloves for $21 bucks. They are cotton so you can wash them....

Oh- also, if you go to the top of the page, click on the 'Home' icon, then click 'Amaz0n', you can buy them through that link and TulsaJeff will get a commission. This helps support SMF. I just found out about this new feature. I'm sure TulsaJeff will tell us about it soon....

That is a good idea, I knew about keeping hands warm.
But was not even thinking that it also helps keep the meat cool, some times I think I only use have my brain, or that is all I have lol

Thanks for the info

That's a good price as they are normally about .80cents a pair ( by the dozen ) at the lumber yards here.

I do the same but use them to keep my hands from getting burnt when wrapping and such.
