So Im new here but not new to smoking. I got my first smoker when I lived in Islamorada in the Keys, it was a homebuilt bullet smoker that was electric and then converted to wood. I smoked a lot of fish with that one. I moved to Santa Fe NM and bought a Bradley 4 rack digital, loved the set and forget of the Bradley and it served me well for 7 years. I recently moved to the Grand Canyon for work and during the move the Bradley got damaged. Well yesterday the big brown truck brought my new Masterbuilt 40 inch 20075315 smoker. First smoke will be this weekend and I cant wait!

Congratulations on your new MES 40 and welcome to then forum! Be sure to come back and post some pictures of the maiden voyage.

Captrick, welcome to SMF! Glad you're here and loving the smoke.

I'm loving where you've lived! Islamorada (the diving), Santa Fe (the culture and sopapillas), and the Grand Canyon (God's river sculpture). Captrick, you just listed a hat trick of fantasy residences for me.

Enjoy the forum!

Yea, I have been blessed in the places I have lived, I was born in NY and left for a two week vacation in 1976, still on it! Besides the Keys, Santa Fe and the Canyon, I have lived in the Bay Area Calif., Phoenix AZ when it was small town, Oregon for a short time, Colorado for a bit and once before in Santa Fe. Just get itchy feet and then I gots to go....

Welcome to the site, and congratulations on the MES.
