Hello everyone,

I'm Harald Roca. I used to be a member with this forum but i cant find my account. Weird. Anyway, i'm a self taught pitmaster (with the help of this forum) and created my own business doing smoke. As you would guess, i live in a tropical country where smoking isn't widely as popular in the states. I had never tasted a bbq smoked pork nor did i ever had a chance of seeing one. I saw the potential in my country to introduce bbq smoke and add a little twist to satisfy my customer palate. I learned the basic, from temp to wood and also building my own smoker with the help of this forum of course. I haven't visted this forum lately due to very hectic schedule. I'm back and hoping i could learn more with this forum. Thanks ya'll

Thanks Al but still confused to why my account can't logon. Weird. Did you guys did any upgrade with this forum?

Yes the forum was upgraded, but your username & password did not change.
Do you remember your old username & password?
Al

i think i have used my facebook as my login. Yeah, i remembered. It was my facebook profile that was used as my login. Now i dont seem to locate it.

If you can't remember your old info, then you just have to log in with the new username & password.

Welcome back! Glad you were able to adapt the information learned here to help you in your part of the world. Are hardwoods hard to find in tropical climates?

Not really but the supply is scarce due to government regulations on hardwood. I opted to use fruitwood like tamarind or cottonfruit which are abundant.

Good morning and welcome back to the forum from a beautiful day here in East Texas, and the best site on the web. Lots of great people with tons of information on just about everything.
