Stumbled on this site while looking for ideas for a meatloaf I'm going to do today.
I'm in SW Washington (Mossyrock area). I've grilled for many years and recently I got a Green Mountain pellet smoker/grill. I've done few cooks on it and am starting to get things figured out. I still classify myself as a beginner.
My list of equipment that I have used include the Hibatche in the 60's, numerous gas grills through the years, water smokers, and electric smokers. My current list is a gas grill, The Green Mountain thing, and a Luhr Jensen Big Chief electric smoker.
I'm a meat and taters type, and if you throw a sauce on it or give it a foreign name I ain't much interested. French fries is as foriegn as I like to get, and maybe some Mexican type food, just don't ask me to pronounce it unless it's tacos or burro-toes.
So, that's me in a nut shell. Wish all of you out there smokey days with summer commin' on. Dave
