Hey everyone:

Looking for a bit of a better seal on my Horizon smoker. The bottom of the cook chamber door and the firebox aren't air tight, and I'd like to get it as tight as possible.

Has anyone had experience with the self stick gaskets like these:

or is it better to go with a traditional rope and silicone adhesive?

Thanks for the help in advance.

Well, sort've ....... I used this on my OC Brazos along with the RTV silicone. Been two months , five cooks, so far , so good.
