I have a brining question...all the recipes I see call for ice in the brining solution for the turkey. If I'm going to be keeping the bucket in the refrigerator, do I need ice??
ice is not needed as long as you pre-cool the brine in the fridge overnight before putting bird in it... plus.. the ice will dilute your brine and make it weak ...
