Angle Brackets?

  1. OK

I've cut and bent my charcoal basket to form using #9 Expanded Metal 3/4".  Looks pretty good.  I was going to pick up some angle brackets from the local HD but saw every stinking bracket was either galvinized or zinc plated.

Reading in the forums I don't want to have bad gas from the fire due to fumes coming from these types - so I'd like some suggestions on what to get as far as an angle bracket?

    Thanks for any insight!

  2. Pics would help. Can't visualize what you are trying to do.

OB1, afternoon.... Put them in a pile of charcoal and light her up....   Do not breathe the fumes.......   That should solve the problem....

  4. Thanks for the quick feed back..I've got some kingsford I'll light it up and put the angle brackets in to rid the toxic stuff!

aleover - I'm just using hte angle brackets to connect the sides of the basket together.

  5. If I saw a pic I may be able think of an alternative solution that may not poison you.
