Jerk Rub Recipe

Going to do some wings this weekend and thought I would post a jerk rub we like a lot - it works for on pork and fish too

 

 

Jamaican Jerk Seasoning Recipe

Hot and spicy, with a wildly sweet and smokey aroma! It is wonderful on pork, chicken and seafood. This recipe is intended for rotisserie or indirect grilling or smoking methods but can also be used for roasting meats in the oven.

SERVES 6

 

It is better if you let it sit for a few hours in the fridge and the flavors meld but it can be used right away if needed

Has anyone tried using this on a turkey and then smoking it? It sounds great but I would hate to smoke a turkey for the holidays and it not turn out so great.

Give a try now and get back with us.  I think it would taste great.  Turkey likes to take on all flavors.
