Just a newbie saying hi and thanks for all the great info and posts. I have a Smokey Mountain Series gas rig and a small insulated electric rig. I haven't done much in the SM rig. I did try smoking fish in it but the temp. wouldn't go low enough for my liking. 175-180 at the lowest setting and I prefer 150 or even a little cooler.

After reading some of the great posts & recipies I can't wait to go to the store and grab some meat for the SM rig.
